| Description: | Human embryonic kidney (HEK293) cells expressing human GPR40 receptors were grown in Dulbecco modified Eagles medium (DMEM)/F12 media supplemented with 10% fetal FBS and glutamine. Changes in ligand-induced calcium-dependent intracellular fluorescence were measured with a fluorometric plate reader (FDSS; Hamamatsu Corp., Bridgewater, NJ). |
