| Description: | The effects of the inhibitors on the activity of HIV-1 proteinase was determined by a fluorometric assay with an internally quenched fluorescent peptide substrate. Measurements were performed in 96-well plates with a Fluoroskan plate reader. Excitation and and emission wavelengths were 355 and 500 nm, respectively.Data were analyzed by nonlinear regression by using SIMFIT, and an equation for tightly binding inhibitors. |
