| Description: | Gel-based assays were performed by combining 4 µL of OGG1 (62.5 nM) with 1 µL of inhibitor or buffer. Substrate (5 µL, 50 nM) was added to bring the final volume to 10 µL. The reaction was incubated 30 min at 37 °C, quenched by the addition of 10 µL of formamide, and put on ice. Samples were analyzed by electrophoresis on a 15% polyacrylamide gel containing 8 M urea, and bands were visualized by a FluorChem M imager (Protein Simple). Band intensities were quantified using the Image Studio Lite Software (LI-COR). |
